The portable transfer aid bridges the gap between the current walkers, canes, and stationary grab bars by providing solid support for transferring for virtually any situation and location. The portable transfer aid weighs in at only 20 pounds for the standard configuration for individuals up to 235 pounds and under 6 feet one inches in height.
Roll-On-Transfer is the only product that addresses the problem of transferring from a wheelchair or powerchair short of using a Hoya lift by allowing the user driving onto the aluminum platform. This saves a lot of time for individuals whose disability still allow pulling up and stable standing. People that will benefit from this product are individuals with neurological disease such as MS, ALS, spinal injuries, degenerative disease and the elderly. This product is not for individuals with no pulling or standing abilities.
